Your Portrait

The Process

Photo Reference

The main component of Matthew’s portrait drawing starts with a high-quality photo. If you happen to live on Long Island in New York Matthew would be happy to photograph you at your location or in his studio. The next best option is for you to send Matthew at least two to three photos. Matthew will work together with you to choose the best photo for the project.

Time Frame

Once a photo has been agreed upon it’s time for Matthew to get busy. Each portrait can take two to four days to complete. Matthew will email you a photo of the finished drawing for approval. Once approved Matthew will ship you a beautiful portrait. Depending on Matthew’s schedule you can have your portrait drawing mailed to you framed within ten days.

Custom Options

Ultimately there are a host of options available when it comes to commissioning a portrait drawing. Portraits can be completed framed or unframed.
